He attended vocational/trades schools from 1987 to 1989. He was taught a variety of skills, including welding, plumbing, carpentry and automobile mechanics. He started a small auto-mechanic business inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing automobiles and light trucks. He earns an average of 400,000 TZS per month.
