I was born in 1968 in a small village in Odisha. I completed my secondary school studies and later trained to become a teacher. I started working at a private school in 1990 as a Hindi teacher and continued teaching for many years. I used to love working with children, and earning my own income also helped me support my family. After getting married, I balanced my profession alongside looking after my family. My husband and I raised three children and their education and everyday needs were our main priorities. My salary helped with household expenses, school fees, and other family necessities. I retired in 2024 and now spend most of my time at home with my husband. Ever since I retired, managing money has become important because I no longer earn a salary. My retirement income and my husband's saved resources help us manage our household expenses.
