Raja

India

Raja initially started his journey working at a Hero Honda showroom in his 30s. However, after working there for around 15-16 years the showroom had shut down due to unknown reasons and he had to quit.

After the showroom, his interest in agriculture resurfaced and he decided to go back to his village in Uttar Pradesh, where he stayed for around 4-5 years to farm. During this time his main source of income was from selling his crops and he did not really have a stable income. As agriculture was not really profitable for him and he had to raise three kids he decided to return to the city and look for jobs.

Once he returned to the city of Pune, Raja worked temporary day jobs with income that varied depending on what job he was hired for that day. His kids by then had grown up and started earning. However, instead of depending on their income he now works as a watchman earning ₹10,000–15,000 per month.

Raja now happily lives with his extended family in Pune, Maharashtra, and earns a living with his job as a watchman.
