Priti started her professional journey in 1993 as a teacher who taught all subjects to students in grades 1 to 4. During this period, her income gradually increased from 1,200 INR per month to 75,000 INR per month. In 2019, she was promoted to headmistress at the same school. During this period, her income gradually increased from 75,000 INR per month to 90,000 INR per month. During the COVID-19 school closures, her work moved online. She retired as headmistress in January 2023. Currently, she lives in Vidyavihar, Mumbai, with her husband and one daughter. She receives a pension of ₹40,000 a month. Her husband also earns a pension. Moreover, her daughter is also working and earning an income.
