“I feel happy when I see my customers who are part of the middle class sector finally achieve their dream of owning a house.” After four changes of industry, he kept going, and that persistence is what led him to the stability he has now. He feels satisfied when he hears “Krishna Reddy is a good and trusted builder in Ongole.”
Today he has his own registered firm that he started in 2012. The firm provides civil, electrical and plumbing work, along with POP (plaster of Paris) work, woodworking and interior design. As of 2026, the firm employs 30 people: two supervisors and 28 skilled workers. The business operates formally, with government permissions to contract and regular tax compliance. The firm also tries to build responsibly. Its projects include rainwater harvesting pits to help recharge groundwater, in line with government norms. It also plants trees on vacant land so that residents live in a cleaner, healthier environment. He says "In a way, this is also part of helping the environment and providing services outside my own business that can help everyone."
It is a service sector business, and after the earlier years of insufficient income he finally got what he was looking for, a secure living and the satisfaction of owning his own enterprise. Today he and his wife both work, and their son earns a good salary.
