Mukesh’s working life began in Mumbai in 1995 with a salary of ₹2,000 a month. Born in 1970, he took his first job as a Management Trainee at Valkils & Sons. At the time, he was at the beginning of a journey that would take him through different cities, roles and parts of the printing and packaging industry.
A year later, he moved back to Indore and joined Indore Paper Box Factory as a Production Supervisor. He then became Production Head at Advertising Equation, where he earned ₹5,000 a month. These early roles gave him experience in production, but his next move took his career in a different direction. In 1998, Mukesh joined Naidunia Printery as an Assistant Marketing Manager. His salary rose to ₹14,000 a month, and his focus shifted from production to marketing. He went on to become Regional Manager for the western region at Shakti Press Pvt. Ltd. in Nagpur, earning ₹30,000 a month. In 2003, he returned to Indore as Marketing Manager at Vijayshri Packaging, with a salary of ₹45,000.
By 2006, Mukesh had spent more than a decade working across production and marketing. That year, he took the step of starting his own business, Print Solutions. Today, he continues to run it and earns approximately ₹1 lakh a month. Over the years, Mukesh’s income and responsibilities have grown, but so has the nature of his work: from learning as a trainee, to managing production and marketing, to running a business of his own. He is married and has two children. He has also invested his savings through SIPs and mutual funds. His daughter also contributes financially to the family.
